Excellent! Looks like the engine mount is JLM1010 - can you confirm?
I think the rear light lenses were specific to this car. From the handbook:
Side/flasher lamp
front R.H. Vega 9726Z
front L.H. Vega 9725Y
Tail/stop/flasher/rear fog/reverse lamp
rear L.H. Vega 9679K
rear R.H. Vega 9678J
So - Vega? I found a Vega Controls Ltd and hoped to get some clues, but here was the response:
Sorry, but unfortunately we cannot quote as we do not manufacture the items you have requested.
We have never been involved in the automotive industry manufacturing lighting components.
Apologies again,
Best Regards,

So.. no clues so far..

Yes, confirmed, that's the same part.
Interesting about the lenses. It's one of those things that has always driven me crazy. I just can't believe AML would have spent the money to get injection molds made for these. The search continues....

The manufacturer for the lenses was VAP and based in UK ( e11 ).
Now in bankrupcy or so ? Nothing on Google about VAP... _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

Does anyone know if these VAP lenses were used on other vehicles? That could be a good source. |

Be sure I've already searched : I most think about commercial vehicles or busses ( I remind me to have seen that somewhere... ) _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

Interesting there were two sources.
Yes, I agree now that it is very unlikely they were specific to this car - AML have a history of using other makes for lights with very few exceptions until the higher volume modern cars.
On eBay UK there are two VAP manufactured lenses. One is Morris Ital:
"MORRIS ITAL SALOON REAR LAMP LENS ASSEMBLY (VAP MARK) LH REAR - ROVER BAU1913"
and the other is a fog lamp for mounting below the rear bumper:
"VAP 14cm x 7cm Rear Fog Lamp 1980's Vintage Unused E11 0013 A7324 Fits All Cars"
So - they made for another UK car maker. The Ital was made from 1980 to 84 but the advert says it was only fitted to a particular chassis number range within that. The fog lamp is listed as aftermarket, but I don't think it is, based on the bracket and connectors.
No luck with any further info from the seller, the Marina Owners forum, or my trademark attorney yet.. |

I'm nearly sure the rear lenses ( E11= UK european code ) were fitted on buses...
Another subject : front lights. On early cars ( up to 13209 ) they are same as on ALPINE A310 ( now out of stock and even with a proposal of rebuild - on ALPINE FORUM - of about 200 pairs, VALEO/CIBIE refused to go on....)
I don't know what is the suitability of front light with other cars (from 13210 ), but as sealed beams were fitted on US cars, the donor car ( or light truck ) was available on the US market.
On S4, the front lights are same as on Nissan 200SX, and the front foglamps are Hella ones fitted on contemporary VW PASSAT. _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

I sourced the front headlamps from 13372 TO S4 but only as sealed beams (US market). I have to check on non-US cars if they can fit.
