Hallo ,can any of the French members fill me in on the French "MOT" regulations please, specifically on oil (not leaks but more on sweathing etc.) and if there is a maximum expirydate on tires.

When I bought my car from France, there was a big hole Under the drivers feet, and it was only mentionned as remark. Oil leaks were present too. They Don't need to find the real chassis number stamped Under the engine or on the front Wheel rear arch. It is less restrictive as in Belgium for example, and I Don't think they verify the age of the tyres.
