For Roger ( and all the others Lagonda fans...),
I answered today, and I think I could be able to organize a good trip through Belgium. I hope Bernard will give some help ( I'm so young and innocent... ).
Only for the Wedges...
July, august or ...? but pay attention with the rainy belgian weather - only one time per year, from 1st january till 31 december- like in UK...
And for the lunch or dinner, be sure I won't make discover " french fries baraques" to the honorable Lagonda owners. _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

LagondaV82009 is alive!
Vincent thank you for considering the organisation. I will be there if it happens.
I think august is best.
my humble opinion for what is important for tose meetings:
1. The Wedge
2. The wedge-people
3. Give the oportunity for the first two to meet

Bruge and Holland sounds great!
The wedge plus all Lagondas from the 1961 Lagonda Rapide should be welcomed if you ask my opinion. |

Although we might consider our meetings to be rather exclusive, we are in reality very inclusive so all V8 Lagonda admirers are welcome, otherwise why would they want to come! |

Might I suggest that the volunteers ( THANK YOU ) which are willing to organise LagondaV82009 ( Vincent, Harry, Bernard ) prepare some ideas for the event, we can hear from them when meeting in Lindau?
Are you all coming to Lindau?

Bruges is a must see place, like some neighbouroods of Brussels (Genval/Waterloo???). I must see with Bernard. A gathering of all the Lags around the Atomium would be great...Just some ideas... _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

consider that we need a lot of parking space!
But your ideas sound good! One of the most important factors is to find an appropriate date!

Hi to all
after seeing this wonderful event in Lindau we stress out now that we agreed to have a Belgian version next year, followed by a meeting in the Netherlands in 2010 a,nd maybe France in 2011.
Some of you want to make it a longer stay, either ariving on the thursday evening and have the full friday and saturday or arriving on friday but have events on the sunday till +- 16h00, Do let me know what you prefer.
We will have the meeting close to Brussels or in Brussels depending on the hotel (read parking) facilities. If you could inform us of your possible participation that would be great. Date iwill be Last or one before last weekend of august.
Vincent and I will get together soon and then communicate more info.
It was great seeing you all and we are looking forward talking again next year. |
