Hi all - Can anyone advise on the removal of a rear bumper, is this a straightforward job please? |

hi.
It's quite straight forwards really.
Open the boot and peel back the lower section of carpet spanning the width of the boot where the boot latch is.
There are four holes drilled into the rolled metal frame and you can reach into these with a 13mm AF socket and undo the nuts and remove same with washers - a magnet is useful for this.
Once all four are removed, the bumper will pull away from the body, the degree of effort required will depend on how long ago it was last off, whether it is sealed to the body and - I know this is not normal for a Lagonda - the degree of corrosion that may be behind there.
Best to have two people to do this as the bumper is heavy and will eventually come away quite quickly and it can be a bit too much for one person.
