Hi you guys as the main man says "we need more Wedgies."

We have 4 registered so far but I'm sure we can do a lot better especially as its a celebration year for the Lagonda.

We could do with a few more to make an "impact display" so please let me know if you can make it.

edwind.cunningham@btinternet.com

Looking forward to the rush…….Very Happy

BTW at the 31st of January we now have 256 cars registered.

No it's not its 265…………... Very Happy

But still only the 4 Lagonda's…………... Sad

Tell me what do I need to do to motivate a few more of you to make it a bigger birthday display.

I'll try anything once and I'll even bring you a Birthday Cake if you get to 10.

By the way anyone wanting to purchase a copy of the event poster please email me,

edwind.cunningham@btinternet.com

There very limited and can be reserved for pick up and pay on the day.

There £25 each with a healthy percentage being donated to the charities
by the Artist Andrew Hill.

I'll await the rush………. Mr. Green

Lets start trying to tempt you to join in with the occasional auction lot that
Roger has kindly apllowed me to start posting.

Here you go try this one.

Another great donation has been kindly forwarded for the Charity Auction at Burghley on the 3rd of July.

Mike and the team from Bamford Rose Independent Aston Martin Specialists have generously donated the following....

A 45 minute flight in an Aerobatic aircraft (Slingsby T67 Firefly)from the Wellesbourne Airfield which is operated by Take Flight Aviation.

The date is bookable directly with Takeflight by the winning bidder and is advised to be taken by the end of September 2016.

Take Flight Aviation : https://www.takeflightaviation.co.uk/slingsby.html

The Flight

Experience the thrill of taking to the skies in a high performance aerobatic aircraft after your initial briefing on arrival at the venue.

There will also be the opportunity for your family and friends to take pictures, as you are strapped into the aircraft as you get ready to go !

Your instructor will take you through everything as he takes you through a series of breathtaking manoeuvres which are guaranteed to get your pulse racing !

However, if you don't fancy the aerobatic flight the instructor can make it as gentle as you like.

Take a peep : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oBZeonlu8P8

Thanks again to the Team at Bamford Rose Independent Aston Martin Specialists for once again supporting this Event.

Any adrenaline junkers out there……...

It's 274 now Roger.

Had a look at a very nice Lagnda yesterday whilst visiting Roger Bennington
at the Stratton Motor Company.

Very smart in Green, but the price well £114.950 if my memory serves me
correct.

Very eye fetching indeed and eye watering all at the same time.

We now have 309 cars registered to attend in July so whilst trying to keep the momentum going I suppose it wouldn't help any if I told you we won't be getting the Spitfires unfortunately this year.

Sorry and all that but I did try very hard after they proved to be so popular with everyone the last time.

I filled in all the forms last September and sent them in with all the coordinates and grid references etc, even the height of the Burghley clock tower was taken into account.

I've waited patiently upon the reply…….. but unfortunately the man from the BBMF he say no Spitfires.

WHAT he did say however was he'd be happy to send along the complete flight from the BBMF so we will now have the Lancaster escorted by their Hurricane and course everyones favourite the Spitfire…clap (weather and mechanical correctness of course dependent).

Well if its good enough for the Queen…………..why not us lot at Burghley.

Thought you might like the model version as well, the music stirs the blood and hopefully will encourage a few more to register if you please.

Come on I'm doing my bit so lets see 320 up over the weekend please.
