Auctioned at a price of € 132,000 plus expenses of 25% (in total 165,000 EUR or 115,000 GBP).

the buyer's premium is 16% + vat @ 20% = 19.2 % not 25%
seems high (world record ?) but it was a very very nice example indeed, nearly as new with only 11,000 miles recorded and 2 owners from new.

Try zooming in on the picture of drivers seat on the auction page.

- Carpets, mats, heelpad and the leather seat looks quite worn for a 11.000 miles only car.

But without any doubt an amazing price! Wink

The estimate was indeed €40-60K, but “shockingly undervalued” as stated in the brochure.
The applicable fees are indeed 16% + VAT for Classic Cars (25% for Automobilia). The total price paid by the European collector (?) for this 1989 AML was 157,300 € / 169,884 $ as disclosed by the auction house.
A friend of mine looked closely at the car parked in front of the Casino and told me that the car was not in top notch condition, preventing him me to make a bid.
