This photograph was taken (by me) in the Summer of 1983 or 1984 in front of the Hyde Park Towers Hotel (behind Harvey Nichols). Registration KMJ 295Y, LHD, black steering wheel, white or very light blue interior, no badges on boot lid nor on the fuel filler flaps. According to DVLA, this car was manufactured in 1981, registered in May 1983 and the last tax disc ran out in January 1985 so was probably exported around that time.
I seem to remember this car also displayed Dubai or UAE number plates but I have just stumbled across this photograph in my archives and I may have been wrong.
This very car is responsible for my 30+ year long addiction to the Wedge model (I've always wanted one since that very magic day) so would appreciate if I knew the VIN & whereabouts of this example. |

* central boot lock says pre-218
* chrome mirror bases says pre-178
Side markers but recessed number plate lights - Euro spec? Is it LHD?
That is a replacement number plate as it finishes above the boot lock. An export car which had returned to the UK by the time of this photo? |

| 13194 had Abu Dhabi plates 33330 AD at WS in 2008. It was built in 1982. |
