Delivered Santa to a school carol service in Woburn last night. Damn lights failed on way back. Had to drive 10 miles on hazards which was not the most pleasant experience. Where is that torch when you need it?

Took my car to David Marks in Nottingham today to have the lights fixed. Damn switching relays again. IMHO David's is the hospital or should I say asylum for V8 Lagondas in the UK.

I am sure I had a problem with one of the replacement relays on 277 not long after I fitted it. I assumed it was a faulty relay. Your experience makes me wonder though..

Perhaps it is time to find a replacement for the replacement. I think there are now more relays of this type available on the market, eg.

It is the relays that Ossi's guy found that we are currently using.

Much discussion going on about these behind the scenes but as of yet no viable alternative has been found and yes, even the current ones being used are not ideal but the best of the current options and are at least easy to exchange once initially fitted.

Open to all ideas and suggestions (maybe just don't drive a Lagonda at night!!!....)

David
