Hello,
I see this is an older post. Is there any update as to availability of said engine internals (Pistons, RINGS, Cylinder Tubes, Cams, Crank)? I know of a few sources that can fabricate pistons and rings stateside. Hopefully, Aston Martin hasn't abandoned us like the folks at ALFA Romeo. Disco is in again apparently, as in "DISCO"ntinued.
Thanks,

I have to check as I was ( and I'm always ) busy to rebuild an engine.
If there is no issue, Icould send my engine to RS Williams to get a 7.0 litre conversion, and put it in 13295 _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

There are a number of companies in the UK rebuilding these engines - RSW, Oselli Engineering, Rikki Cann etc. so the parts must be available, at least from them. The different engine builders have different upgrades on capacity, some requiring a new crank, some not. The added challenge with the Lagonda is the short inlet manifold on the carb cars.
There have been several discussions on the AMOC forum about engine upgrades, which usually start at the point where someone requires a rebuild - the added cost of a capacity increase is not necessarily that significant when you are rebuilding anyway. One important point is that some upgrades are more suitable for manual cars as the added power/torque is at the higher rev ranges.
