|
|
Both my cars are missing their battery clamp.
Does anyone still have theirs? I would like to see pictures of it, and dimensions if possible so I can make replacements.
It uses a hooked rod at one end, and fits into the clamp on the front edge of the boot wall at the other. This is the important end for me.
thanks,
Jonathan |

Hi Jonathon
I am pretty certain my car has a battery clamp. I will see if I can confirm this fact and take some photos and measurements for you at the weekend. |

Thank you Roger and Arnaud - that is very helpful.
Roger - I think the part which bolts on to the edge of the boot is attached to your clamp. I wonder if it welded or held in place with corrosion? |

Nice to see variation. Corrosion? What's that? |

Hi Jonathon
Sorry but I did not get to my car over the weekend as I had to work. However, I see that Roger & Arnaud have done you proud so I guess you may have enough visuals & info to create a clamp set. |

Hi Keith,
Yes, don't worry. I should be able to make them now.
Of course, the likelihood is that yours is different again..
