Hi,
I bought 13136. 21k miles. Beautiful condition. Have just completed recommissioning - rubber birthday, new turbospeeds, brakes: booster, discs, calipers etc. A jaw dropper in the flesh.
Best Regards
Phil
PS Does anyone know where I can acquire new foam inserts for the tool box?[ |

I think you will have to obtain and cut your own foam inserts. |

When I originally sourced the foam & cases, for when my car was being restored, I had to buy a few sets in of the cases & foams. These were sent to Julian @ Puddleducks so there is a chance that he might have a couple left. |

Thank you chaps for the tips and advice on the foam.
I contacted the re-incarnated Puddleducks (great name), and they do not have any foam. I am about to venture forth and try doing it myself.
Best Regards

I will have a look through my files and dig out the name & telephone number of the people I found who were the original suppliers to Aston for the cases & foams. |

Appreciated Keith. I had a crack today at producing passable foam inserts. For a chap with 10 thumbs and no manual skills I quickly closed the case aftrerwards!
13136 has done two weddings in the last month. Last weekend, I drove to the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne CBD for my brothers wedding reception, with my wife and daughter. When I arrived the head valet asked if I would mind if the Lagonda was parked in the forecourt, on display with a new Bentley convertible and a Ferrari FF?
Sure!
In the morning, when I came down to collect the Lagonda, the head valet stated, "Sir, everyone ignored the Ferrari and the Bentley they went straight to your car!".
LOL!
Onwards and upwards.
Nearly 22k miles on the car now! OMG! |

Well, of course your car was the star.
Ferrari's & Bentley's are 2 a penny by comparison. |

I have found the details for you. The original company was called Custom Cases and they were bought out by:-
Nomad Limited
Rockingham Road Industrial Estate
Market Harborough
Leicester
LE16 7QE
Tel: 01858 464 878
Fax: 01858 410 175
www.nomadplc.co.uk
CaseRef. No. 90992
They gave me a choice of plain foam or laminated with a colour top. If my memory serves me correctly the colours were either grey or blue.
I had dealings with Chris Mathes - chris@nomadplc.com
Any further problems from your end then let me know and I will see if I can get them for you. |

P.S. The foams will not have the tool shapes cut out. You still need to cut the slots yourself. |
