In 2009 to mark the completion of a three year restoration of his car Ossi Bashiri donated this trophy at the annual V8 Lagonda meeting.
The trophy is a Swedish limited edition art glass vase entitled ‘Open Minds’ designed by Ulrica Hydman-Vallien of Kosta Boda.
It is awarded to the owner of the chosen car for ‘Restoration, Renovation & Innovation’ (for having gone through the pain, suffering, and financial ruin of having stuff done to their Wedge!). It is a wandering cup, given back every year and then bestowed on a worthy winner for the next year.
