Finally it was the first drive.
O.K. it was just 15 minutes from my garage to ROOS Engineering, but at least!

The engine, the brakes, the steering: wonderful.
The electrics: Nearly non existent. There is a loose contact which makes the car to be without any current. So it was get the car going and do not stop! But I guess that all the electrics will be solved when the car has enough current.

ROOS Engineering will do the annual servicing, repair the screen problem, the A/C problem and I did tell them to repair two cracks in the wood. The wood will take some time. 2 - 3 weeks.

As allways it is good to speak with the people from ROOS! ( No affiliation )

Regards

Zoran

On the subject of taking the car out for a spin... here in Antartica we just had a foot of snow last Sunday (30 cm) adding to about 5 feet on the ground. So I think that I will be taking Alvira out as soon as it all melts. In June maybe... Crying or Very sad

I think that I heard that the record for snow in Montréal was in 1971 at 385 cms. So far this winter we stand at 360cms or so.

Roger, the link does not work for me.

So far, the Air conditioning is repaired. Some tubes had to be replaced.
The screens are all well, it is just the "driver" with the 16V which is defective and needs to be replaced.
The wood is being restored.
The cork sills for the automatic box are being replaced.
The worst news are that one spark plug was very dirty, so we have to watch out for this cylinder!

Regards

Zoran
