Sad person that I am, I have read all the way back to this 2007 post.

I had an idea to track down the old forum.. First I had to find the old web address, and now I have found it via the WayBackMachine:

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.astonmartinlagonda.net/

If you follow the bottom 2008 link, then the forum, etc. From my quick sampling, it looks pretty complete.

Roger - it may be worth sucking this forum content over to your site in case it disappears in the future. Maybe top & tail it as 'archive' content. Let me know if you need any help with this.

There is an even earlier forum in the archive - is this content in the later one? Maybe get this too..?
