Hi All,

Just a quick post introducing myself.

After two years, I recently managed to persuade my wife that a Lagonda would make a great birthday present since its my 40th at the end of this year. Striking while the iron was hot, I took delivery of 13277 last week. (Thanks to Roger for advice on inspection)

My Lagonda will come out mainly for the odd weekend trip, my weekday 'runabout' is a DB9.

I am also trying to avoid the temptation to do too much restoration - I plan to just make sure everything electrical stays working. Not too worried about that with an electronic engineering degree..

I am interested in any suggestions on which battery conditioner to buy - Airflow?

Jonathan

Hi Jonc

The battery charger I use is a CTEK. It has a simple plug in system that can be hidden away in the boot and only takes seconds to connect up.

Mine's the XS 3600, which is perhaps a reflection of how long it has been accumulating dust on the shelf. Thanks for reminding me to do something with it.

I have just noticed that the AM supplied conditioner for my DB9 is a CTEK XS 800.

I think I will convert the new one to the XLR3 connector and fit that socket in the Lagonda. That way, whichever car I have at home, I can plug it in Very Happy
