Cars of the first generation have no rear roll down windows up until 13285 or so. Afterward they all have roll down windows so I assume your new purchase has them.
The conversion is not so simple but doable, heck I did it and I am no mechanic! I may have a donner car for you to fix your front end and your roll down window on the first car.
You will need to wait for a bit but I can probably get you the parts you need at a descent price from the USA.

Hello..
if i get this car in gemany or similar car i shall post all parts not for me needed, so that my fellow lagonda fiends can mak use of them...
but to keep costs low for me i hope only o buy the font end parts i need..
