Hummm... what do you think it will go for? It's a very good looking car...
I will be in Florida during that auction. Just a skip and a hop from Arizona. You think I could convince my wife to come with me out of our romantic (i.e. no kids) get away?
To maybe buy yet an other car!!!

Francis,
Buy it, put the car in a barn, say your wife several months later you've bought it for parts and that you find the car finally not so bad...
She will then answer : and now that's all ( you understand : for the moment), and you don't need a Virage too ! _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

ok,
here is the plan:
I buy the car and I register it to the name LagondaNet.
It becomes a car to be used by the members when they travel to America.
I will offer my garage to keep the car inside and warm in winter.
I will then have the car available for Lagondanet members on march 6th from 2AM to 6AM. (LOL)
Do you think she'll buy my story?

If I get it cheap I might ship it to Holland for the Lagonda Fest!

Alvira is not for sale and she will never be for sale. (until someone offer me a price I can't refuse!)
LOL!!!
I will get her back here in Canada next september or in September 2011.
I would like to have a Lagonda here as well.
If this car sell at a price that I will be forced to buy, ($30 to $35 000) and is a reliable car, I will register it in the US, New Hampshire has no sales tax. (not pay import duty to Canada, save $6 000 to $7 000), then I will ship it to Europe and keep that one as my European tourer.
So, I might end up having two Lagondas this summer in Europe. Since I will then take Alvira to a port for shipping back, I will drive her to Holland and I will take delivery of the other one at the same time.
Do you see my plan?
