|
|
Just back from Belgium and washing my Lagonda I was approached by a dealer who garages his car next to mine. He told me that he has just been offered a Lagonda, but he did not buy it.
He gave me the phone number and I called at once. When I got to the seller the car was allready sold!
It is a silver Lagonda coming from an Arab country, never having been registered in Switzerland, allthough the car was for a moment in Geneva. The seller is in Biel and has sold the car to a dealer in Zürich. So I expect the car to be registered in Switzerland and that it emerges on the market again.
No chassis number. around 45000 Km. In excellent condition. Grey leather with blue piping. |

I just talked to the new owner who is a dealer, but it was a nice contact.
Now, he tells the car is in "used" condition and in need of "some" work. He thinks, he will need at least one more month to have it ready. He was not in his office, so no chassis number, but he promised to call when the car is ready.
His target price will be around 50000 swiss francs. But expertised and serviced. |

The sixth one in regular production, the seventh if we count 13269 ( pilot facelift ) and the ninth with the aftersales upgrades -including your car and another one I forgot the VIN... _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

So I was not the first to go ahead and do this most essential retrofit... Who esle did it, do you know?
I wonder if he did it the same way I did? That is doing the inner door handles upgrade too.
How was the electrical rear window switches adressed?

Francis,
Have a look at 13105, upgraded by the factory ( analogue dash, rear power windows, pepperpot, and fabric seats, and many others : ashtrays, door panels, console, leather parts in inside roof...)
The switches for the rear windows are on the door panels like no other Lagonda si je ne m'abuse

105 has gotten some radical changes to the interior. Was that done by the factory?

Yes these were done by the factory. Car is now in Australia after being for sale in the UK for at least a year. |
