Now you will need to explain this to me:
Buy one, wash it and come ! You still have not bought your car?

That's for those who read this forum and don't have confirmed their participation yet !
FYI, we received two new confirmations yesterday ( within one with a car bought last week)! _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

And Gregor Mager ( scale modellist ) will be present too.
For those who went to Lindau, he is the model maker of the souvenir trophies. The participants who want a 1/87 Lagonda ( HO scale ) may order this directly to himself or have to contact me for this ( more or less 20 € if Gregor takes it with him in Genval; I already ordered a copy of 13295 & 13034 ! )
For the event : we're on 13 and bookings close on 15...Hurry up ! _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

Thank You,

Hallo Francis
What do you mean with (the rear window upgrade).
Is that " close window ".

My Lagonda is serial LOOL13207 and was originally built with the rear windows that do not open. After an unfortunate accident last year, I purchased LOOL13422 that was in Florida to crop parts from it and fix the damage on mine. This car was fitted with rear doors windows that rool down so I transfered the parts that made this possible on to my car and now own a car that has rear windows that open.
I don't understand the logic that AML used to produce cars with windows that don't open and someone should explain that one to me one day, but it makes a small esthetic change to the look of the car.
The original fixed windows are a flat panel from the front of the door all the way to the end of the door. In the roll down version, the rear part of the window is fixed and the front part (about 80%) rolls down. So inbetween those two parts is a black window mount that is not visible on the fixed window cars. Thus my comment on creating a cast model of my car, should take that modification in consideration.

Hello Francis
Wonderfull are your pictures. But I have a question. Did your car have a orange line on the side, it look so.
Or is that only the sun or shadow who make that.
The yellow Chevi is also verry nice. Big block motore. But you can drive in your country not so fast as in germany.
When you are comming to belgium, take some more day´s ...drive from the nord to the south of germany on the autobahn ....you never forget it.
It is amazing. It is the experience.
