Humm...

With the conversations we have over this chat and the two wonderfull times we met, I will venture to say that I could see you in a Ford Mustang 1968, fastback or convertible...

If you did not go American, I will speculate on a... a Mercedes Benz Pagoda 280 SL.

If you went for something more exotic, please give us an indicaion of that fact.

Francis

Nice try Francis... but you are way of!

It is the first car I was ever driven in ( of course as a baby )...

But you'll never find out, you would never think I would buy something like that...

Well,

May I assume that you were born behind the ironcurtain?

I will then venture to say that you bought a Trabant or a Zil!!!

I saw a tv program yesterday about the Rinspeed sQuba, very interesting car. It drives, flots and acts as a submarine also!

Wow, guys, you are really clever.

It was not the iron curtain, but it was "block-free". Nevertheless Vincent, you got the name, it is a Zastava 750!

Tomorrow I will post some pictures.

Put an Aston badge on it and it could be a Cygnet.

It took a while, but I finally figured out where I have seen that little bugger: James Bond. In the movie Goldeneye, bond's American counterpart, Wade, picks him up from the airport in one of these! Shortly thereafter, it breaks down, but "a light tap with a sledgehammer" fixed her up!

Zoran,

Fun car, and a very nice restoration.

But what about that interesting Rolls-Royce (Chinese Eye ?) your are hiding in the back of our garage ?

- Didn't you have a Silver Shadow at some point ?

Best regards,

Soren

you did not win the refrigirator on this, the Bond thing is a Russian Separovitz or how ever you spell that in English .

Btw. Lagondas like to stay next to small cars, mine's beside a '65 DAFfodil

OK, so no Bond connection - still, can you fault me for the mistake?

Either way - that is a lovely car!

I can't help wondering tho: if you were to race it against a 2CV (which was also featured in a James Bond flick) who'd win? That motor looks like it can power my vacuum cleaner. javascript:emoticon('')

Soren: I know we are all Lagonda-brothers, but telling me that the Chinese Eyes is in "our garage" takes it to a new level!...

No, this little car was never in a Bond film, but there have been many other adventures in this little car!

O.K. compare it to a 2CV. I have driven a 2 CV several times! It depends on what roads you drive which will be faster. Difficult conditions like very bumpy roads or even snow: the 2Cv is faster, good suspension and front wheel drive. Track Day: The Zastava would beat it easily....

And in town the little Zastava 750 is musch better: Smaller, and much easier steering as it is rear wheel drive with rear engine and rear gearbox!

Zoran

P.S. The Shadow had to go, but who knows, one day....

Zoran,

"your" and "our"..... Ups, I think I missed an "y" there!!

- Anyway it sure looks like a nice RR hiding in the dark. I understand it's a secret...... you haven't told your wife about it yet ?

Best regards,

Soren
