For information. Received from AML Heritage Operations (Parts) today following my question re availability & pricing of front & rear screens
*
1980 car would have had the non shadeband front screen, 76-10510, which has been replaced by 76-17005, with the shadeband, this however has now been superseded to the facelift screen utilising the stick on rear view mirror, 76-25614, this is a stock item with a retail of £1033.90.
Rear screen did not change and is part number 76-10512 @ £1163.68 and is also a stock item.

In the community is there is a need for Lagonda windscreens? From the Factory there are no windscreens available anymore!
I found out who got the original tools for it and would be able to get them reproduced in an up to date standard and certified with stamp. I need one but the minimum amount is 20!
I'm already one step further and all it needs is a "go" from me and they' ll be produced. The price will be around the original price of € 1,650 plus vat.
Please let me know if you can help me with that.

Certainly we know there are no more available in stock @ AML, new or used. They have a habit of breaking when taken out! The last 2 at Puddleduck were I believe sold to an owner in New Zealand at the end of last year. I don't think it is a secret where the tools are located.
I am surprised the factory are not prepared to finance 20 as there
is/will certainly be a need in future.
Anyone else want one at this moment?
I have asked AML again. |

I remind about a 'retrofit' serial of windscreens for trucks which costed less less less than this, but made in Tunisia or Marocco...made from copying a broken one.
I'll ask to my supplier how much it would cost for a 'first quality' copy...
of my front and rear broken screens ( on 13169 ). _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)
