Roger,

I think this is not 13035 : body colour ( scarborough blue when new, as 13034 ) and trim ( magnolia, seems darker here ) don't match.
No matching with Soren's site too...
http://www.vassard.dk/lagonda/gallery/13035.html

And the mirror is on the door ( then after 13066).

Agree about the mirror, however, I think it has the heater valve on the chassis rail rather than bulkhead. You can see the hose just past the air box. This goes with the pair of rubber aircon hoses which indicates a 4-port heater valve. This configuration also says no rear aircon.

If you went by the heater valve, it would be pre-13058. And 030 onwards with the 580 engine.

If the mirrors were original, they would have chrome bases anyway.

What makes you think it has the vantage engine Roger?

Actually, looking at 035 on Soren's site, I can see that the Vantage engine has different inlet manifolds making the carbs higher, and a revised air box. The combination of these mean the bonnet bulge to clear the additional height.

From photos elsewhere, I think the Vantage car had a Tickford Body kit.

This car looks like it has a standard engine (and bonnet / body).

You may indeed both be right & I wrong.
It may have been wishful thinking on my part.
There has been confusion about 2 similar looking cars in the past. Apologies. I'll make some more enquiries.

First style of Centra wheels makes it 13380 to 13436. USA spec? Looks resprayed since the base of the mirror is body coloured.

That distinctive upper interior colour should help..
