I have just been told by his son that Dr. Karl Jacobs, the founder of BIRS-ISB in Belgium died last year.

Dr Jacobs owned a very fine car #13641 from new and some of you will remember him from meetings at Brooklands in 1999 and in Murten 2006.

Very sad news! He was a real enthusiast. if I remember correctly he had bought his car new!
