When driving having the lights switched on, it is possible that the rear lights stop working for some seconds and then start working again.
I can see this when looking at the dashboard. The "side lamps" sign is
also not working for some seconds.
The front lamps work perfectly.
Has anyone an idea?

Do you have rear lights inside the boot on your car ? If yes, maybe I have the solution... _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

Yes there are lights inside the boot. I was thinking about the switch that switches from the outside to the inside lights already. But the "side lights" lamp in the dashboard also flares.

The VIN 13063.
It says "side lights" on the dashboard, but there are no lights actually at the sides of the car, but on the front above the indicators.
Whenever you switch on the headlamps it is necessary to press the side lights button first. |

Just a cheap idea :
Check the ( 3 ) relays for the boot lamps.
They stay under the rear left seat (back ). Just push it to up to remove. _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

I changed the big relays under the bonnet and exchanged them for German built relays. Then I changed the one (!) relay under the rear seat, too. Now everything is working fine.
Thanks!
