At normal oil and water running t°, a min display of 80 lbs/sq.in should be indicated.
see : Controls section B5 in owners manual (if you have one ). _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)

Hello,
You really need to use a "wet line" gauge to measure the oil pressure and compare it to the dash board reading.
The readouts on the LED displays all go quite a way out of adjustment over time, there is provision, inside the instrument pack itself, to adjust each of the readouts (if you have something to compare them to).
Also, the oil pressure sender units seem to vary quite a lot and if you put two or three different ones on the same engine, you get quite different readings at both high and low engine speeds! - new senders are about £65.00 from AM, I think - plus VAT..............
If you do fit a wet line gauge (a special master version that plumbs into the oil gallery and the oil acts directly on the gauge, no electrics involved), make sure that you do not loosen the pipe fitting that comes out of the valley plate of the engine, or, if you do, it must be tightened up afterwards - a bit fiddly to do.
If you are lucky and have the version with the sender unit above the rear of the right hand camshaft cover, it is quite easy to fit a gauge and check the pressure.
Regards
