I don't think I have posted this before. Received 020609:

*I recently came across your web site. Terrific information. I've always been a fan of these cars too. I am a full time model maker (and collector), and am involved with high end low volume specialty models of all types and in scales ranging from 1:43 to 1:8. I am located in the States. You can see various models on my web site: www.cmamodels.com

The reason I am contacting you is that I am working with another specialist model firm who produce some superb very limited edition 1:18 scale hand built models. In the past they made a very limited run of the Lagonda in six colours. They only produced 29 models of each colour. All are sold out. I am very interested in, and considering the possibility of commissioning them to produce another short batch run of the Lagonda in a different colour scheme than they have already done. That is also the only way they will make any more since these were strictly limited edition pieces. The models they produced were LHD. I am fairly certain that we could have them made as RHD, but probably all would have to be the same. The models are highly detailed static models (No opening or moving parts). They also have excellent paint finish. I've attached several photos of these.

Do you think that the members of your Register would be seriously interested, and would commit to buying these if I were to make this offer through you? I would need firm orders (with deposits) for a minimum of 20 models to make this possible. Estimated price of $499.00 USD each plus shipping. I thank you in advance for your time and look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Marshall Buck

I guess they are talking about those well known 1:18 chinese models.

I think there would be some interest on the market for more of those models, but I do not think that we could assemble 20 people willing to pay a deposit.
