I just purchased car chassis number 630, series IV, last US car. This is the third and perhaps the nicest Lagonda I have owned, last two were chassis numbers 594 and 615. It is scheduled to arrive in the middle of next week.
It is a one owner with about 11,400 miles. Will post some pics when it comes in. |

Owned car chassis 594 from 1998 until 2002. Shown at Greenwich Concourse d' Elegance. Bought chassis 615 in 2006 from Tom Papodoupolos Autosport Design. Sold it back to him in 2008. It was sold to a collector in Kuwait. Both were black beauties. I thought I got Lagonda out of my system, until Tom offered me number 630. Having grown up in New York, I have sketches of Lagondas on the back cover of my Social Studies notebook. I was 14 when I first became "infected". I am well into my forties, and cannot get it out of my system. Sorry for going on a tangent. About a year ago I inquired about the Lagonda from the Hunter Green Collection to no avail. However, I think this car is as good if not better. I also bought a 2002 Vanquish from Tom 2 yrs ago. It is a really great ride. I am new to LagondaNet Forum but happy to see so many "infected" people. I would love to participate and to help organize an event in the USA as well as Europe, as my wife and I frequently travel to France. LONG LIVE THE WEDGE! |

Thanks Vincent, I have not seen the article and would be very interested in viewing it. If anyone knows, what ever happened to the genius - William Towns? |
