No, the XJS ones (common to other XJs) are not vented:

That's why the callipers are listed as 'modified'. They are split and have a spacer added.

One of my door mirrors is broken, like mount attached to the door, actual mirror hanging by the remote control wiring. Searched left, right and center, end result: if you have a later Lagonda with the post Jaguar/RR/Bentley mirrors, be nice to them. They are Italian, have to find back the note with the exact brand, and the only other common car I could find they are used on is the Ferrari 308/328 which is a very common car and cheap easy to get spares, well, erm, no. one can find some incomplete mirrors (only left hand) for $500.on Ebay Shocked
The mirror has in its base 2 small plastic caps which were missing, available from Ferrari specialists for around $50 each, also available through AML for 20% of the Ferrari price. Next time we moan about the prices of parts..... things can be worse, that is until AML reads this.
After dismantling my broken mirror, the damage is fixable, need to make a custom piece to get the lot fitting together but nothing too complicated

This has reminded me that I looked into the mirrors last year, and David took some reference photos for me - I have put a post about it here: http://lagondanet.com/bb/viewtopic.php?p=7445
