We've successfully tested on Alvira the renew of the whitewall tyres.
Extremely simple :

Buy at the nearest Wurth shop a brake cleaner ( nettoyant freins/remmenreiniger/bremsenreiniger ) ref 0890 108 7.( I can supply in case of need at 3 € + postage costs, only for EC ). Spray on the tyre and wipe immediately. It takes 5 minutes per wheel...That's all, your tyres look as new !
