--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
During Lagondafest 2008 and 2009 I talked with different people about the problem that even though the climatisation is on, the car gets hot air above the dashboard. Mine did the same. Some thought it was just wrong engineering that Aston Martin has forgotten a valve.
That is not true, as I have been explained this spring by a mechanic of Roos. There is a valve which should close so that no hot air gets in the cabin. But this valve is operated by vacuum ( low pressure ). If the hoses in which this vacuum is building are not 100%, and the system is very sensible, the pressure is not low enough and the valve can not close.
The hoses have been changed this spring in my car and no hot air in the cabin anymore!

I think I have the same problem. I'll have it looked at the next time it goes in for service. |

The dash command may also have leakages...It cost 815 € + VAT for a new one, available at AML. We've made a mecanical command ( wire ) on Alvira and the same work will be done on 13295 to shut down and up the defrost vents. 3 hours of work, deposing the instrument panel, and 40 € stuff. That's it ! _________________ Welcome to Paradise ! (FRONT 242)
