A question for Lagonda owners:

Is your car loud?

When you accelerate, is the noise level like a roadster of the 50's?

After driving 600 kms or so this weekend, I stoped by my local Muffler repair shop to get them to look at the pipes, being sure that I had a hole somewere inbetween the manifold and the tail ppe. But no all is normal...

Is it the same with your car?

PS I own my car for 3 years now, but had not yet driven 500 KMS priar to the weekend.

Francis

Well that is difficult to answer.

my Lagonda is certainly louder then my Jaguar X-type, but it is a very much different sound then my XK 120.

It is a typical Aston Martin V8 sound. Lie someone from my local Jaguar dealership said: " Mozart would drive a Lagonda".

I would have to say that mine is loud at 70+ and positively roars the faster you go. Wink

There is a fair bit of wind noise at the side too & heat!! Twisted Evil

Francis,

Yep, it really roars when you accelerate. Cool

When you hit normal cruising speed the growling sound should settle down.

But yes, it sounds very different from a Jaguar. More brutal !!

Best regards,

Soren
