I have received this enquiry from Finland

*
As I am using my Lagonda ~daily, I also need and use spiked winter tyres. It has proved to be difficult/impossible to find suitable wheels here in Finland. And changing tyres twice a year to the same wheels (good originals = Centra 7J x 15HT for 235/70 VR15) makes the wheels suffer. Thus, I just wonder if you could send me information as follows:
suitable/similar wheels available in the UK
communication to the supplier
other relevant info (prices, spec...)
I could buy them by credit card and organise transport to Finland.

Help anyone?

I bought winter tyres with rims for my Jaguar X-Type just for the same reason, and at the same time, I can do the rotation myself every spring and fall. I just did the rotation this week-end past.

The company that I went to is called Tirerack.com You will not find rims for a Lagonda on the selection the website proposes but maybe by sending them an e-mail they could help.

The steel wheels of the Jaguar XJ (1968-1988) are suitable.
The alloy pepperpot wheels are same than XJ S3
The alloy BBS wheels of the XJS (83-89) are also a solution...( fitted by Aston on special request )
I think all these wheels are easily findable on the second-hand market.

The wheels on the S2 with CRT and S3 are specific to the car, it would be easier to follow one of the 3 possibilities above.
