A quick question for the knowledgeable Lagondist:

on the dash is a wood panel. On that panel, in the middle, upper part is a notch and there is something with an electrical connction in that notch. It looks like a sensor. Does anyone know what it exacly is, and if I cover it, what would be the effect?
