I am at this point in my preparation to come to Europe,

I need to find insurance for Alvira for my time overseas with her.

My canadian insurance company and no other company here offer coverage outside North America.

I need to find an insurance company or a broker that will help me get coverage for damage on Alvira as well as insurance for collision and injury.

Can anybody help with ideas or referals for that issue?

Francis

Locktons are an AMOC broker in the UK. They should be able to help.

Others have recommended Hiscox & Aon.

I just got quoted:
The premium for the period, not to exceed six months, would be £341.25 including 5% Insurance Premium Tax. The deductible will be £1,000 in respect of physical damage to the car, and of course third party liability is included.

Is the price in line for Europa prices?

Widely less than in Belgium...But the belgian laws don't permit ( at this time ) to get insurance in another european country;it would be interesting for me to take insurance in France for example, which is also cheaper than Belgium...

Go on !
