Guys,

Here are pictures of the crate I am building (today) to ship along with Alvira. The car will be going into the container on July 2nd for pickup in Southampton on July 23rd.

All those parts are from the repair of last year after the dismantle of 13422.

So today I rented a truck to bring the boxes (2 of them) to the shipper's yard.

It is now 33 C in Montreal... so working alone to load an 800 lbs + and a 400 lbs + boxe was hard to say the least... but now it's done!

Alvira will join the boxes on Monday June 29th. I will take pictures.

Today, literaly two hours before Alvira was to ship out, I finally got the last 3 wood pieces to finish the interior redecoration I started last year.

If you look at the pictures I took this afternoon, you will notice the wood extention from the radio panel with the two wood panels besides the shifter. I think it is nicer than the leather panels that use to be there plus easier to keep clean. I also got rid of the ashtrays, Alvira does not smoke...

The last few pictures are at CarShip in Montreal before she goes into the container tomorrow at 10:00 AM. I will be there and will take some pictures. Anybody likes the yellow Camaro?

She ships on July 5th and should arrive in Southampton July 20th.

Car looks fantastic Francis! Shows how much effort you have put into it. Can't wait to see her in the flesh with her owner(s) in Europe.
Bon voyage!

OK, OK I went a bit nuts with these pictures, but digital is free so, for those of you interested in the shipping process, here are 30 pictures of Alvira being loaded this morning.

Do you know if I will be allowed to drive Alvira in England with that plate in the front?
