hello fellow lagonda friends..
since i bought my lagonda here in sweden it has now completely been dismantled and sandblasted.some welding is done now, hopefully in some weeks it will pe painted..i will in a while as i have documented all restoration post pics..
now i need some parts if someone has them for sale..
in rear window are 3 leather covered aluminium pieces, one center above ac, and then left and right speaker covers..i need speaker covers left and right, regardless colour and condition since my interior is going to be remade completely..
left exhaust manifold
air filter box and hose going from box to intake...my car is carburator.
supposedly there is difference between left and right, surely we can figure out wich one i have...

i also have one question,,i read that there are rear doors with windows that can go up and down ?? is this correct ?? if so where do i find such doors ?? and do they cost much ??
thought it would be nice..

also looking for 4 aluminium rims if someone has them for sale..

appreciate all help..
regards jonas

Hello,

I advice you to buy standard aluminium plates and give yourself the correct form. As mines are off my car, I'm able to make a plan of the piece if you need.

Rear power windows are standard fit from 13284, so the best way to fit these on your car is to find second-hand rear doors ( pay attention : the doors are hand made and unique from car to car and the best solution is to dismantle the whole system from the door )...But where ?
Ask Puddleduck...also for the manifold if impossible to repair. They can provide manifolds in stainless steel too.

air filter : AML ref 08.18037
filter box : AML ref 08.18036 from 13195 ( left & right are same )
hose : AML ref 692744
Sometimes prices at AML are affordable.

Harry Kielstra ( zagato ) had 4 alloy rims ( pepperpot ) for sale. Just ask.
Pepperpot wheels were also mounted on Jaguar ( XJ & XJS ).

I would be pleased to get some pics of your restoration : vanquish@skynet.be

Thank you

Jonas,

I just bought 13422 as a parts car and I can provide you with the parts you require for the interior. Please be more specific about the metal trims you need so that I can locate them on the car and send you pictures. The inner panels that I have are weathered but usable. Do you also need the speakers? what about the center panel, do you have all the trims? do you need the AC unit in the back?

As far as rear windows roll down, I am in the process of taking the mechanisms from 13422 to retrofit into Alvira (13207). I will be hard for you to find those parts used in my opinion but your best bet could be Puddleduck.

I will however keep you posted on the work that is being done.

Francis

Why yellow ?
That was a spec for France, not used anymore since 1992, I think.

My lagonda will be painted in black ..a colour i think works fine for a car with so many xtreme forms...and for the yellow front lights and headlights if they exist is just something i think would work estetically..(my taste)
so now i am trying to see whom might have some for sale weather new or used,,the rims already found,,,,
i will check with aston martin england tomorrow but do not know whom in france could help me..
i have a vision on how i want car to look like finished,, slowly i will reach that goal, my plan is to drive car summer 2009,and this car is a keeper..a summer cruise car for me and my girls..( daughters) age 1 and 4...
any tips welcome on front headlights,,,all 8....
maybe someone having yellow wants to change for white..who knows.

Main light in yellow are :
AML ref : 37.16905 & 37.16906
Foglamps :
AML ref : 37.16967
DRIVING/SPOT lamps :
AML ref : 37.16966
Good luck !
As I live near the french boarder, I know some second hand car-sellers had a solution with yellow clear paint for selling belgian cars in France without changing the headlights, but that was not legal.
I don't know from which car the headlights are coming, but you could find the fog and spotlights at CIBIE or HELLA.

Hello Jonas!

Here are some more photos of the same car:

http://www.vassard.dk/lagonda/unknown/001.html

- I think it is the same color as the one used on my car:

http://www.vassard.dk/lagonda/gallery/13505.html

On my buildsheet the color is called: "Chichester Blue (Deep Ocean Blue)".

I don't know the code, but I bet someone else here does Smile

Best regards,

Soren

Soren

My records on your car 13505 state only Chichester Blue (Deep ocean blue) but no paint code. I shall search elsewhere.
