interesting article but i must disagree with the author..

is the Lagonda's apparent invisibility. We blend in on the road whether passing, being passed or waiting at traffic lights. No one pays attention as we pump gas at a crowded multi-island convenience store.

my experience when driving my 13394 is a trail of people asking me what it is..

i took esther (yes, thats her name!) out for a 10 mile drive to the drug store and local supermarket two weeks ago..

at each stop there were at least two different groups of people who gathered and peer into her..

lots of head scratching was going on..

one time a fellow in a collectible corvette followed me for a time, then pulled alongside, gave me a thumbs-up and a grin and continued on his way..

when i drove her on the highway i was stopped my a highway trooper who said "uihmm, sir, i pulled you over because you drifted out of your lane several times, ahh, what kind of car is this..?"

the real reason he pulled me over was to see esther close up..

and pumping gas ALWAYS draws attention and questions..

perhaps the restyled version with rounded edges does NOT draw attention but i can attest to the fact that my white esther always draws a crowd.
in frint of a restaurant or other shops people always ask "what IS it..?"

if i were not married esther would be the perfect car to pick up women.. Smile

Hi Bill

I absolutely agree with you

younever go unnoticed. Some drivers nearly have an accident trying to find out what car it is. others give a thumbs up or flash the lights. Very Happy

and i agree that especially the opposite sex seems to appreciate the cars. Wink i was stopped a couple of times by a lady driver because she wanted to find out more about .............the car Sad
