The bodyshop now working on 13295 send me regularly some pics of the advancement of their work. I'll advise to every owner to unscrew the parts from the rear wheel arches ( inside door ) to see how it goes.
For my part it was an unforgettable experience of the well-known (some of belgian guys say worldfame ?) "Bruges' lace".... Mad

Vincent,

you are right. With my car, it was also a big surprise to open the covers of the rear wheel arches (a few bolts must be unscrewed to do that). I then had to drill a hole of dia 32mm approx. and, by means of a vacuum cleaner, I got out a handfull of rust out of each wheelarch. From this place, the rust already made it to the longitudinal side sills below the doors, and also to the inner outline of the wheel arch. I think that this weak point is one of the reasons why so many Lagondas die from rust.

Recommendation to all Lagonda owners: Open the rear doors and unscrew these few bolts and check the structure of your cars. This is important for your safety and for the value of your car.

Sieghard.
