since i am moving it would be better to sell the crashed car, s/n 13422 rather than move it..

it has complete doors and trunk lid..
and some interior parts..

it was damaged in front and the engine is gone..

i DO have the transmission..
which has about 70k miles on it..
if the odometer can be believed.. Smile

contact me at via email..

Can you post pictures of the remains of the car? I would be interested is some interior parts, possibly carpets, if the color is right and maybe the tranny. is your car located in Georgia? would you sell it as a hole?

i will email you some pix, later..
the car is in florida right now and i am going to have to move it to georgia if i don't sell it..
which is the ONLY reason i am comtemplating selling it..
the carpets and interior soft parts are not useable..
it was too long with an open window before i got it..
and florida is not kind to car interiors either..

i am keeping it (if i can't sell it) for the doors, window mechanisms, glass and so forth..
in case of damage to 13394..

my email is on my forum.thinkpads.com web site..

Bill,

If possible (and if you are interested), I would be very pleased to add some pictures of 13394 to the Lagonda gallery ?

http://www.vassard.dk/lagonda/gallery

- The gallery contains a few pictures of 13422 before and after the accident (I believe you posted them here earlier).

Best regards,

Soren

car is white..
both rear doors are good and windows roll down when power is applied..

interior leather is red and probably not recoverable..
i.e. can't be restored to useable condition..

there are two pix of 13422 and two of 13394 here..
http://www.vassard.dk/lagonda/gallery

under the serial number of the crashed car 13422..

the two pix of an uncrashed car are 13394.. Smile

see the AML gallery for pix..
i can email you more if you email me at bill at thinkpads dot com or my email address on this forum..

the transmission is available and still in florida..
i am given to believe that while this is a chrysler "big block transmission" the case/bell housing is a special casting for AM..
and thus very rare..

Bill,

Thank you very much for correcting the 13422 / 13394 mix-up. I will update the gallery as soon as possible.

A long time ago you posted a picture here of a light brown / gold metallic Lagonda parked behind a white Lagonda ? So I wrongly assumed that the light brown Lagonda was 13394..... ?! Smile

Best regards,

Soren

that gold lagonda was 131?? and was my first..
it was pretty much in need of more than i wanted to invest..
so i sold it and bought the one i subsequently sold to the late jeff lowenthal..
which was gray with red interior..
his wife sold that car for a fraction of its true value to a somewhat dishonorable rolls dealer in chicago..
dishonorable in that he took advantage of a grieving widow..

at that same time i bought 13394 from marek bradbury and the crashed car from a fellow in michigan, who delivered it..

so you can now see the whole story.. Smile
