Today I started my Lagonda for the first time in 2008. It started well. I just drove a little distance and let the engine run. Everything except the problem with one screen and the air conditioning worked well.
Then I stopped the engine and worked for about 30 minutes on the other cars.

When I tried to restart the Lagonda to drive it back in the garage, it made only a clack and then all the electricity was gone. Boot lights, door lights, anything was gone. I tried to switch on and off the main switch, I replugged the conditioner/charger which is allways hooked on. In vain.
So I had to push the car back in the garage, luckily the Lagonda is so easy to push ( ... )

I suspect it is the main switch, I will have to check it, what do you think?

Sorry to hear this Zoran.
It could be the main switch, but I don't think you've had a problem with this before. Have you checked the poles on the battery are tight? Do you have a portable power pack (jump start) you could try? Has the charger been working properly, Is the battery condition OK?

At least it happened next to my garage, so I was able to push it back in.

I suspect the alternator now?! Battery and charger should be o.k.
I am charging the car right now, so let us see whether the electricity will be ( hopefully ) back.

So, I did charge the battery and the charger told me the battery is full, but still no electricity at all.

So for the first ( ! ) time I did work me to the battery, but there too, the connections seemed o.k. But then when I merely touched the battery pole turned to the front of the car with my bare finger, the lights went on and all the electricity was back to normal! That's what you call a magic finger, isn't it?

The fault with the electricity was very simple. It was not the battery nor the main switch nor the connection to the battery, but between one battery connector and its cable, there was a bad contact.

Everything fine now.
