My interval switch for the wipers has gone kaputt. I ve been told that the original one is no more available from Aston Martin.
Anyone any idea where I could still get one?
Thanks

If you mean the item with the rotary knob that controls the speed? It is a Bosch unit if I recall well in my car, I bought one on internet. There was a part number on the unit, googled that to find a replacement. If I don't forget I will look for it next time I'm at the car.

Thank you Johan, but I think the one with the rotary knob is not the original one, but the one which is available now.
I would like to have the one without the rotary knob.

Ah, then no idea what was used, the rotary dial is what is what I have on my CRT dashboard and am pretty sure it was there from day 1. Really that it is not a Bosch unit but Hella.

Mine did brake down and it did not have any rotary knob. The one with the rotary knob needs some work so that it can be put in the car.

Thank you offer, but I did investigate a little bit more and now I have the correct name of the part:

Wiper delay relay!

It is in the engine bay and looks like this:

https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/12v-universal-intermittent-wiper-timer-relay-5-sec-delay.html

AML gives now part no 37-20765, but with this there are some modifications to be made.

So, could I be lucky and the part in the link could work or do you Harry have really the original part?

If you are looking for the relay, post a photo of the original Hella part.

Yes Christoph that is the annoying thing! The mechanic took it out and said he will send me the new one and I can just push it in.
He did send me a different one, and now he has thrown away the original one....

https://www.ebay.com/itm/SAAB-9000-900-CLASSIC-Intermittent-Wiper-Relay-Hella-5WG003620-02-/272874995271

This one is new and appears to be adjustable

You could ask David Marks which relay is in 13380 or 13397.
And on the weekend I could look in my car ....
By the way, Nicholas Mee offers the part for a hefty 136.00 GBP.

Yes Johan

I have ordered this one yesterday:

https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/12v-universal-intermittent-wiper-timer-relay-5-sec-delay.html

No idea if that should work! I will report!

Well the relays arrived ( I can recommend this Online shop ). I was able to put it in place. But again the wipers started moving and did not want to stop at all. Only after I pulled the relays out, they stopped.
Any idea where to look at now?

Q first, do wipers work normally for the rest, meaning slow on slow, fast on fast and stopping at correct spot when put in out position?
