Harry,

My plan is to travel England for a month before crossing over to Belgium for the Lagondafest 2009. I will then drive my car to Switzerland to store it until summer of 2010 when I plan to use Alvira again for a month to travel Switzerland, Austria and Germany before making it to Lagondafest 2010 and then shipping her back to Canada probably from Rotterdam.

As you know, I will be there, too.

Still don't know whether one of my ladies will join us...

Francis, we can discuss your plans with Email. There are nice roads in Switzerland to travel with a Lagonda....

A first teasing :
The visit of the major car collection of Belgium, maybe of Europe, will be the first place we'll go ! A world-famed battlefield is not so far on our way ...

Will you be happy with the sightseeing of 2 Lagonda's (13034&13295),
a '76 Dodge RAM, a '28 Renault NN, a '71 Mercury Cougar, a '78 Renault Estafette, a '56 SAVIEM LRS, a '85 Renault 25 V6, a '80 Renault Fuego, and a '83 Ford Sierra XR4i ? Mmmmh I don't think so. Bernard and me propose a visit of a part of the widest collection in Belgium ( about 1000 cars !) in wich only about 150 are offered to the eyes of the public- and also 100 in another museum, which we won't have time to visit - not far from my home...

Vincent

I am eager to hear about even more teasers! Sounds excellent!

Don't forget all those Lagonda owners who are not visiting this forum. Send them mails to make them really want to come!

So far it sounds that this will be a major event with so many very interesting and freshly restored cars!

Regards

Zoran

Hi Guys

Is it to early to enquire about hotels in the region yet?

I am not sure if you will be making a block booking for us all at one hotel or if we need to make our own arrangements.

I guess that August will be a really busy period in Belgium, as it is here in the UK with the main school holidays and therefore I think we would need to book a place sooner rather than later.

Keith.

I think that the point of having a Lagonda Fest is to have all participants in one place for a weekend. I hope we will all be in one hotel. Preferably a nice one... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
