A few changes under the bonnet -
Replacement distributor / electronic ignition.
Air box replaced with pancake filters - why?
Modified accelerator cable linkage.
Removed air pumps.
After having the US emissions stuff taken off it, it still passes the tests?
I do like that outside colour - same as my 13277 - and that inside looks original to me (listing says replaced?).
Oh, and they should really manually wind the headlights down for the pictures. |

The rear valance looks correct to me, although it sticks out too far at the bottom. Most likely it has been grounded and damaged which is making it look odd. |

relisted at http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C674427
i'm new here, but am i right in noticing that at least half the ads out there for lagondas quote the wiki article? i've never seen such consistency of wiki quoting on another car, it's amazing.
It's like half the people trying to sell one feel the need to explain what it is but don't know what to say themselves so just copy the wiki???
one ad i saw recently even quoted the whole of the wiki opening section, including the last 2 sentences as follows:
Quote: | It was named by Bloomberg Businessweek as one of the 50 ugliest cars of the last 50 years[4] and Time Magazine included it in its "50 Worst Cars of All Time", describing it as a mechanical "catastrophe" with electronics that would be very impressive if they ever worked.[5] |
Great way to try to sell your car, that |
