Does anyone know of this car?
It should be a late series 3 with the interior of the series 4 but has the wrong center console and instruments display. The booth was also replaced.
Did this car spend time Under water and this is why the interior was rebuild?
Headrest cushions are also mounted upside down.

It was for sale last year through a second hand car dealer in the States. They told me it had been sold to a European buyer (German) I think |

it's a scam, was for sale on Car & Classic for one day on Monday before getting removed. Phone number doesn't work and no replies to emails.
Pics came from Lagondanet so beware, it could happen again with any other car. |

Received this reply today (same message as the usual scam) :
Hello!
First of all,I'm sorry for the late reply.I was away from the city ( job assignments ) and I couldn't e-mail you sooner.
The car is still available for sale,so if you're still interested I'll be waiting for your reply. The final price is 19000 euros ( I can't go lower ).
The car has never been involved in accidents or crashes. It's in perfect condition ( both mechanically and cosmetically ).No hidden problems whatsoever.
I inherited the car from my grandfather who lived in Belgium. That's the reason I put the car on sale in Belgium.I thought I will sell it much more faster.
I'm selling it because I already have 2 cars and I can't afford to pay extra taxes for another vehicle.
The car is now in Preston,Lancashire,U.K.I'm willing to ship it ( I will pay half of the shipping fees ).
If you'll decide to purchase it,I need your city postal code for estimations of the shipping fees.
I'll be waiting for your soonest reply.
Thank you and kind regards!

Francis received exactly the same reply (word by word) when inquiring about 13213 a few months back:
http://lagondanet.com/bb/viewtopic.php?p=7053&sid=fd9f9a7dde6da6729423be0fef4bdd2c
The seller called himself "Matteo Sosa" then. Now he is "Dennis Menard".
So apparently he is changing his name every time he inherits another Lagonda in perfect condition from one of his many grandfathers.
First he lost his grandfather living in Spain and now his grandfather living in Belgium.
You can't help feeling a bit sorry for that guy, losing his grandfathers and then being forced to sell Lagondas in perfect condition for next to nothing! |

I feel for the guy. Let's pray for him that he does not loose another garnd-father. This would be terrible for the guy!
I feel so much for him, that I think I will call him up and take him up on his offer. I'll throw-in an extra couple of thousands Pounds to help him thru his sorrow.
Anyone else wants to help the poor chap?
Let's start a fund for him. We could call it 'the grand-pa is dead' fund.
You know, if he keeps on loosing grand-pas like that, he will have more Lagondas than Roger Dudding!
