Hi
Some time ago I asked if any of our euro members who run their lagonda V8 engine on LPG could let me know which mixers they use on the Webber carb engine.
My car is due to be road worthy soon and was hoping some kind member may be able to help, either with pictures of the mixer units used, or part number or a link to a supplier for the above mentioned parts.
Also make comment on how the engine performs using it for long distance touring, as opposed to fast driving.
Hoping someone can help

kind regards

Grant

One of my Lags is now for sale at Oldtimerfarm and fitted with LPG.

Maybe I could sell you the whole equipment...but if I found it was a great idea, I had taken it for my other car.

LPG on such cars causes head gasket problems and that is already a weak point on serial cars...

My point of view, I'm sure Harry will not agree !

DEFFY NOT

As cooling itself is already the problem to some of us, (it is Not Standard
, neither of mine has any overheaing problems) there might be the gasket issue.
LPG combustion temp itself isn't that much higher, on the other hand LPG does solve the headache of modern petrol, read ethanol, and has equivalent
octane number around 110? so engine is less prone to knocking.

Nuf tech talk, for these carbs there are NO existing mixerplates, hence I did
old school sput inn conversion, minimal chance of back-firing as opposed to LPG feed in or before airbox
