I fully agree that the Lagonda MUST be included in the top 5 of the coolest 4-door cars Smile

- BUT I definitely don't think that any of the other cars mentioned in the article deserves to be on that list (eg. that horrible 90's Chevrolet Impala - what a joke). The Lincoln Continental does have something going for it - but not enough.

My favorite post-war 4-door saloon cars include:

Aston Martin Lagonda (Series 2 or 3)
Aston Martin Rapide (2010 - present)

Jaguar XJR V8 (1998 - 2004)
Jaguar XJ12 HE / Daimler Double Six (a late Series 3)
Jaguar MK II 3.8

Maserati Quattroporte (2004 - present)

Bentley Arnage / Rolls Royce Silver Seraph
Bentley Mulsanne (the new one)

Rolls Royce Silver Cloud MK III

DE TOMASO DEAUVILLE
CITROEN SM OPERA

MONTEVERDI HiSpeed 375/4 ( I want this car...)
BMW 6 GRANTURISMO...

you have never driven one of those Chevrolets you call a joke.

I have the civilian version, 9c1 package and it is one of the most capable high speed cars out there, embarrasses 7 series BMW's for pennies on the dollar...fast, quiet and smooth, I am talking 110 mph with out breathing hard for miles on end, demonstrated on my return to California from Texas where I got my car in 1998. Yes owned since then, ABS, dual air bags, 4 speed auto trans and a Corvette LT1 engine, drilled front brakes and posi traction...a capable car with no body roll what so ever.
