Just got back after collecting my car from David's. Drove as sweet as a nut. David, the Lagmeister, did everything asked for and more, making the car ready for our meeting tomorrow and after.

No problems at all on our trip to Luxembourg. Car performed perfectly thanks to David Marks' attention.

All of the CRT pics above show the components from my car #13428 being restored in Nottingham. David and his partner did a fantastic job. There is truly NO excuse for bastardizing these cars with analog dashes or other conversions. As the saying goes, "Dont just do something well, do it RIGHT" |

Took my Pride & Joy to visit the Lagmeister yesterday to have a new water temperature sensor fitted. Once fitted and he was getting the engine back up to running temperature, David said that there was a noise that should not be there.
David went and got his engine stethoscope and started to listen various areas of the engine then homed in the cause which turned out to be a dodgy bearing in one of the belt drive pulleys.
What can I say except that we are very fortunate to have such a skilled expert looking after our cars. |

I agree entirely Keith.
Took my car out yesterday. Stayed near Cheshunt overnight and visited Wimpole Hall today. All went well but I may visit DM before our Swiss trip just for a check over, time and he permitting. |

David is certainly very much in demand and invariably with all Lagonda projects, large & small, they take considerably longer to do than expected due to unforeseen problems & complications.
I think we need to find a way to make several clones of David so we can all get our cars sorted. |

Visited DM today for a pre-Gstaad trip check-up. Tempting fate, but all seems OK.

Took my car back to its 'second home' today. David Marks' in Nottingham.
He is the UK specialist of choice for these cars. |

Last saturday David Marks made a home visit in Germany because 13629 wouldn´t start. By means of detective work he found out, that a broken spring washer caused a malfunction of the camshaft sensor.
David did a first-rate job, it is excellent value for money and I commend him highly.
