Hi
I just stumbled across this thread and since there was a request for suggestions regarding proportion and style and because I enjoy a bit of photoshop car restyling, I hoped nobody would object if I joined up and offered my 2cents.

I can explain what i´ve done in more detail if there´s any interest, as some of it is´t too obvious at a glance.

From this (LWB I realise)...

To a stock wheelbase coupe...

To a SWB coupe. I wouldn´t go much shorter than this as those long front and rear overhangs start to look really awkward.

Looks great! Thanks for posting.

I would love to see a 2 door version of the Lagonda. Aston Martin should have made one.

- It would have been a nice competitor to the Ferrari 400 which featured similar styling:

I was looking at the Ferrari 400 when thinking about what to do.
There were also the Lancia Gamma Coupe and Fiat 130 Coupe is a similar vein and timeframe. Probably half a dozen others too.

I wonder if Aston would have made a Lagonda coupe if the car had been a bigger seller?

The Gamma was a particularly handsome creation I always thought.

I found another solution, with nothing to cut, and keeping 2 cars...
