I think he was a dealer, not very talkative in fact but it was late and we were all anxious to get out of that charming by freezing venue.
Bargain ? Not sure. A mystery for sure.
The big invoice they are referring to in the description is missing from the file. So was the V5 & current MOT but my understanding was that the vendor (who I understand also owns DB4/5/6's) was retaining the AML reg. That invoice refers to major structural work. So, has it been done or not ???
What I could see when opening the rear doors is that there was still major rust on both rear wheel arches but frighteningly that rust had been clumsily sprayed over. I very much doubt that WS would let a car leave their premises like this (for the sake of their reputation).
A minor bill from WS dated 2010 mentioned "car unsafe to drive for structural reasons".
There was also the typical rust (quite major on this example) within both front driving lamp assemblies above the front bumper.
Apart from this, the car looked very tidy with an immaculate interior.
The left hand CRT screen was said to be flickering.
Having spoken to many interested parties (yes a surprising good number of people were interested in the car or a Lagonda in general), none liked that Suffolk Red colour though... Finally the odometer was showing 107700 (miles or kms ?).
Good luck to the new owner.
