The fuel pressure regulator on my car, #372, failed rather dramatically, by leaking about ten gallons of fuel on the garage floor. Very expensive high octane, ethanol-free racing fuel in this case.
The good news is that this part was readily available at the ordinary auto parts store down the street from me for $35 USD. It’s a rather generic item. “Mr Gasket” fuel pressure regulator, with their part number, 9710.

It mounts just beside the fuel filter and is no big deal to change. The old one on my car was set to 3 pounds of pressure, so that is were I set this new one. Supposedly these were fitted on Lagondas starting with my car. _________________ 13372 |
